How to get that look Divas!

Let's chat Divas! Okay, so I have been secretly obsessing over jackets....Not just any jackets but blazers.... I love the whole style of blazers, for the simple fact  that, that style of jacket can take you from late winter, to early spring...Of course that is depending upon the climate in where you live...

Also, along with the blazers being totally chic, something you can dress up, dress down, and any where in between that is major for me!  Especially for me being a stay-at-home mom that would still in enable me to do the everyday activities with my boys as well as be "mom chic"( yeah this is the new word) lol....  So, of course I could buy a few trendy blazers, but now that wouldn't be much fun now would it; nope, my sentiments exactly :)

Here are couple of styles of blazers that really caught my attention:

I would love this with a pair of jeans and cute pair of heels too cute! I may have to do
a muslin for this pattern, and see how it goes!

Well Divas that's all for now! Just wanted to share some thoughts let me know what you think
As always Divas be blessed and nothin' less!!!!

  3. I especially love Simplicity 2728! I also have love affairs with blazers, though I have yet to sew one! I think you are right, they can be great transition pieces. If you decide to sew one, remember the length of a blazer is key for body types! Good luck!

  4. Vanessa, Simplicity 2728 is a great pattern.... I have yet to sew as well, but I want to give it a go! Yeah, I like the crop length of blazers but we'll see!

  5. Great job on the FBA. I avoid them at all costs, but always find that it works out better than I thought, once I do go for it. It's more intimidating than difficult.

Can't wait to see your progress.
