June challege (non-sewing related)

  Ladies, Summer is fast approaching here, or at least for some that is! Well, I have been asked several times about my weight loss and just how did it come off so quickly. Well, I am not at my goal yet, but I have made progress, yet in still I should be further along, sigh! Now, this is where the "June Challenge" comes into play...

It's really to encourage myself and hopefully to encourage others who may want a little encouragement as well! I plan for the month of June to eat as clean as possible, no sugars( except from fruit) no flour, bread, etc...Eating veggies, lean meats(fish, chicken, eggs etc) and healthy fats and water, water!. I also plan to boost my workouts from 3 days a week to 5 days a week for the month of June... 

So, what am I exactly trying to accomplish in a months time? Hopefully, I will be leaner, shed a couple more pounds and just keep motivated while reaching goal... I hope you will join me, or simply root me on. All the encouragement will be welcomed! I have taken my measurements, weight, and photos.. Monday morning June 4, 2012 starts my challenge..I am excited, if not nervous, nervous because I have put myself out there, so now I have to do it lol! But that's the kind of push I needed, so I am ready for this challenge! BRING IT ON!

  1. Congrats Lady on your goals!!! There's nothing like making the "insides" squeaky clean. Being healthy is the best goal there is. I recently had the worst breakout & knew my sugar intake had been too high. I always feel better when I reduce, I know you'll do well and reach all your goals:)

  2. Great post! When you eat the right foods, it really is hard to GAIN weight! The problem is, the right foods are not the fun foods that I love to eat! But once you retrain your mind and make healthy food choices, you find that you feel so much better!! And yes, you don't really miss those bad food choices! It is a daily journey for everyone, and thank you for sharing this post Candice. I will commit to working out more and managing my sugar intake because that is my problem area. I know you can do it!!
