Y'all my mama has gotten the sewing bug!

My mama holding up her first project!
So, my mama, sissy, niecy pooh and two nephews came to visit last week for a week, and we had a blast! I had every intentions of teaching my little niece how to sew, but she just wasn't that interested. However, my mama, who just so happens to be my best friend, has always wanted to learn to sew took her opportunity and jumped in with both feet honey, lol!  On her first sewing lesson we decided to make my little niece a pair of pajama pants using M6458 ,and let's just say after completion of those pajamas that I had created a monster y'all LOL! No lie, my mama just called to tell me new Mc'call's patterns had been released, too funny!
My mama handling that hem y'all lol!
After my mama completed her first garment, my mama then started looking for more patterns, fabrics; just wanting to sew something, lol! We all know how it is in the beginning to just be starting out and be so excited, right? My mom then found M6559 pattern and that she just had to have two dresses before she left, so of course we had to go to the fabric store where my mama scored an ITY print at Hancock's on sale. We were not able to finish before my family left, as we started on the dresses late and had a lot of family fun things to get too...But just as soon as I finish the dresses up,I will get them shipped, so that my mama can rock her dresses!
Here's a sneak peek of the ITY jersey we scored at Hancock's

Now of course, I couldn't go into a fabric store and not get anything! I was able to find the right shade of cobalt blue fabric that I have been lusting over for a minute. You know how when you have a vision in your head and nothing in the world is right until you get that right fabric, or is just me lol!
Okay, so this isn't a pic of the fabric, but trust it is this shade and is gorgeous!

Well the little person who is holding me hostage right now, lol is doing great and I'm feeling great, which is always fantastic! I'm not sure what's next on my agenda of things I want to get to, maybe a sundress IDK we shall see! Well I hope you ladies are having a fantastic week thus far! As always be blessed and nothin' less and continue to stay fearlessly fierce!

Me and my other bestie my sissy pooh!
