The little princess modeling S1701

My sweet little girl in S1701
I couldn't wait until my little princess was born, so that she could wear her first dress made by mommy! I reviewed this dress pattern sometime in May, which you can read about here. I will say that the pattern size I chose was an XXS for a size up to 7 pounds. However, the dress is a little big, but she should be able to fit the dress properly within a month or so. So for me the pattern does seem to run a little large, as tends to be the norm in the big 4 patterns. This still for me does not take away for me that this is a great little pattern, that can lead to so many various options for you little girls...

On the sewing front I have been sewing, but just for the kiddos so far! However, that is going to change, because I am so ready to make some garments for myself, just anything lol..... 9 months of really no sewing other than here and there and I am ready to combust lol.. So, I am going to steal away little time to gather patterns and see where that may lead me, we shall see... Well, ladies I hope you all will have a wonderful safe weekend! Be blessed and nothin' less and continue to stay fearlessly fierce!

  7. Sewing for little girls is the MOST fun! I started sewing a few months before my now 6 year old daughter was born, and I get the biggest kick out of making her stuff.
