Review: M6458

My two heartbeats :)
So, I won't tell you how long these M6458 pajamas have been languishing in my sewing room. Let's just say according to the husband, "He's surprised that they still fit!" LOL... What can I say? I am a selfish seamstress, yes even with my love bugs:)...  This was my first time sewing a button down shirt of any kind, which I find to be odd, seeing that I have sewn at least three jackets. But never had I sewn a button shirt, hmmph... I'm intrigued now to say in the least, so much so that I am finally going to tackle that craftsy course on shirt making. I can't be the only one that buys these courses, and then take forevah to use them!

Excuse the thread this was hot off the sewing machine!
Okay back to the pajamas! My boys are so fascinated with transformers, like seriously it is not a game lol! I have to say that the instructions for the top were fantastic!  I even made one shirt with piping, which was a first for this technique and it went in without a hitch! I didn't notice within the instructions that they required a lot of hand stitching and I'm sorry but I'm really not about that life HA! Other than obscene amount of hand stitching required for this top, this would really be a great pattern to get your feet wet in sewing shirts/blouses..
first time adding piping...
I purchased this flannel fabric from fabric.com several months back ,and had to purchase two additional yards after I realized that I needed to lengthen the pattern for my oldest son.. Thankfully they had more, whew! The bottoms were your typical pajama bottoms, no need to read the instructions there.. I also purchased the piping and buttons at my local JoAnn's.. Although it took me a minute to finish, not because this was a difficult project, in fact it was extremely easy. I now know that I am a selfish seamstress and I embrace that, yes I said "embrace"! LOL.. Oh, before I get out of here let me post a recent pic of my little bit, who is two months as of yesterday...

My heartbeat....

Well, ladies I hope you have wonderful week ahead! Be blessed and nothin' less and continue stay fearlessly fierce!
