Simplicity 3711

My little love is 6 months now, yay!
Sigh, I'm so in love :)

Okay, I know the last post I was talking about sewing a shirt, which I have; I just need to review it.. I actually had this robe done since last year. I made it a month before my little love was born, but I had to wait until my little love could model the robe...This a Simplicity pattern S3711, I would link it but the Simplicity site is moving slow, ugh! Have you all noticed this problem recently with their site? This was a very simple pattern to put together, the only issue I had was lining the hood. I'm not sure if was due to my pregnancy brain at the time, or the pattern. I'm sure it was just me, as no one mentioned this issue.. This fabric may look familiar, it was the fabric my mama used in making her first project on for my niecy pooh!
My little love can sit up now all by herself!

There's not much I can say about this pattern, other than I would highly recommend this pattern. I think it would be great for baby showers, birthday presents etc... The only thing that I didn't like was all the extra STUFF to be added, such as, the applique, ric-rac and so forth, but you can easily leave those things off if that's your preference. I loved that it is fully lined, it makes for such a polished little robe. You will have to add in your own belt loops if you want them, as the pattern does not come with those, but again that is an easy adjustment. Overall, this was a great pattern, and my little love looks so darn cute in her little robe! I shall be back later with photos of my button down blouse.. Be blessed and nothin' less and continue to stay fearlessly fierce! And one more pic for the road of my little lady and I  :)!

  6. Your daughter is adorable, Candice.

As for the Simplicity site, I gave up on that foolishness years ago. If you need to link a pattern, use Pattern Review or Google the pattern number. This is how I find pictures. I try to credit pictures that I lift from other blogs.
