Snap Chat Monday!

S1589 I hadn't finished the top yet, hence the
raw edge on the collar and armholes...
I  wasn't sure what I thought about S1589, but I've worn it twice since having made it.. So I guess it's a go:)! I will do a proper review shortly when I can get better pictures..

Posted this pic on my Instagram on Sunday, this is what I
wore to a BBQ..

I also had an entire day to myself on Saturday( thanks to the husband), woo hoo! I did hit Jo-Ann's up bright and early and purchased two pieces of fabric, one of which I was so excited about; however, it became a wadder :(... Ain't no body got time for that, right? LOL!

I was so excited for this cream knit to become M6556.
That I came home and treated the fabric, only to hate it :(!

Made tailors tacks for the first time; oh yeah, the slim fast and oatmeal are my make shift
pattern weights lol!

I had a vision for this M6556 pattern, but I absolutely hated it on me, it was a complete failure for me.. I've tried to like the top because it's made well, but nope I hate it!

I even made a neck and arm binding; however, I
loathe the way this looks on me :(

I hope to get a few more tops made for summer, but I also am thinking shorts, jumpers, and dresses, decisions, decisions. We shall see! Have a wonderful week ladies,  enjoy life, and  don't stress over the small things and be the change that you desire.....Be blessed and nothin' less and continue to stay fearlessly fierce!

  5. Your makeup is always ON POINT! I don't wear much makeup, but I admire those who do it right.

Bummer on the wadder. You make fantastic things and will surely knock it out of the park on the next item.

  9. I am currently sewing S1589, I'm a beginner and the neckline gave me hell. I'm trying to decide if I want to take it out and redo before moving on to the armholes. can you give any tips/advice on the neckline? would it be easier to use bias tape?
